Maria del Consuelo Sauceda, 71, was called to her eternal resting place on December 3, 2025 surrounded by her family at home. Consuelo, the oldest of 6, entered this world on August 7, 1954 in Reynosa, Tamaulipas, Mexico born to Mauricio Solano Gracia and Consuelo "Chelito" Solano Maya. She was a beloved wife, mother, and grandmother.Consuelo was a devoted Catholic, serving as a catechist within the Church in Mexico. She was admired for always being thankful to God during every season of her life including during her sickness. Those who met Consuelo felt the kindness she exuded and witnessed her unshakable faith into her final days. Consuelo was described as a precious soul, a bright light.Consuelo married her soulmate Servando Sauceda in Rio Bravo Mexico on May 24, 1991. The couple would eventually settle in Sulligent Alabama building a beautiful life together and raising three daughters. Consuelo would often say that one of her greatest accomplishments in life was her family, and finding out that she was becoming a grandmother and meeting her first grandchild brought tremendous pride and joy to her. She was a hardworking homemaker and skillful cook in the kitchen. She enjoyed making delicious foods for her family and friends. Consuelo was a talented seamstress, creating everything from her own wedding dress to matching outfits for her young girls to hospital gowns for her nephew to prom and special event dresses.With her beautiful smile and infectious laugh, Consuelo will be greatly missed by all who knew her.Consuelo is preceded in death by her father (Don Mauricio), mother (Doña Chelito), two brothers (Raul and "Guichio"), mother-in-law (Cristina), father-in-law (Ramon), and sister-in-law (Yolanda). She is survived by her husband (Servando), three daughters (Consuelo, Cristina, Anna), son-in-laws (Mitch and Spencer), daughter-in-law (Christy), and grandchild (August "Benny" Campbell).Consuelo will be laid to rest with a graveside service held Monday, December 8th @ 2 PM at Jefferson Memorial Funeral Home and Gardens in Trussville, Alabama.

La pareja eventualmente se establecería en Sulligent, Alabama, construyendo una hermosa vida juntos y criando a tres hijas.
