Margaret "Ann" Sewell

Mrs. Margaret “Ann” Sewell passed away peacefully on April 1, 2025.

She was born September 2, 1935, in Birmingham, AL to James Grover and Annie Elmira Howell. She is preceded in death by her husband, Clyde Neal Sewell, brothers Elton Howell and Coy Howell, and sisters Ina Smith, Bea Vines, and Vivie Betts.

She is survived by her daughter Julia Ann Embry and sons Kenneth Neal Sewell (Beth) and David Allen Sewell (Laurie). Grandchildren: Zachary Stephen Sewell (London Huff), Robert Neal Embry (Destiny), Ava Elizabeth Como (Kyle), Emily Anne Dunn (Jason), Jonathan David Sewell (Melissa Crew), and Benjamin Pate Sewell (Erin). Great-grandchildren: Graydon Henry Como and Audrey Louise Como, Mary-Kenneth Ann Embry and Anderson Neal Embry, and numerous nieces and nephews.

She was involved in and loved her church family at Lakeside Baptist Church.

The family wishes to thank the staff and residents at Covenant Place in Gardendale for their loving care of Mom.
