Margaret Sarah Kirkland

Margaret Sarah Kirkland, age 82 of Birmingham, AL passed away on March 31, 2026. She graduated from Phillips High School in 1961. She attended Jefferson State Community College where obtained her nursing degree. She was a member of First Baptist Church of Center Point since 1968. She was employed as a surgical nurse of Carraway Hospital for over 30 years of service. She is preceded in death by her Father, John Dial, Sr., Mother, Margaret E. Dial, siblings, Melba Garrett, Charlie Dial, Harvey Dial, Opal Byers and Mable Deale and grandson, Johnny Kirkland Elrod. She is survived by her husband, Ronald Kirkland; daughter, Nicole Elrod (Johnny); son, Troy Kirkland (Olivia); grandchildren, Christina Hardwick (Ryan) and Scarlett Kirkland; great grandchildren, Lani Dailey and Rory Hardwick; brother, John Dial, Jr.
