Marcelyn Turley

Mrs. Marcelyn Olivia Turley, age 84 of Birmingham passed away June 26, 2013 at her home with her family. Mrs. Turley was a retired Registered Nurse with 28 years of service with the Jefferson County Health Department. She was a member of Grace Methodist church. Survivors include her two sons, Mark Alan Turley and Gary Morrow Turley; two sisters, Ann Morrow Stripling (Boyd) and Sonya Erwin (Bud); brother-in-law, Kenneth Hughes (Peggy) and two grandchildren, Grace Alexandra Turley and Mae Alane Plummer. The family ask that donations be given to Red Cross 114 22nd Street Birmingham, Alabama 35235 in memory of Mrs. Marcelyn Turley. Funeral services will be 10:00 am Monday July 1, 2013 at Jefferson Memorial Gardens Chapel with Rev. Jodie Baker officiating. The family will receive friends one hour prior to services at the funeral home. Burial to follow at Jefferson Memorial Gardens. Jefferson Memorial Gardens East directing.
