Malcom Rogers

Malcom DeWitt Rogers, age 63, of Birmingham passed away on April 17. He graduated from Birmingham Southern College and was in the first class to receive a degree specializing in classical guitar and was a long-time Birmingham-area musician. Malcom was preceded in death by his parents, Carl W. Rogers, Sr. and Sally M. Rogers; he was also preceded by one son, Jesse M. Rogers. He is survived by his daughter, Amy Rogers; granddaughter, Ruby Elizabeth; one brother, Carl W. Rogers, Jr. (Debra); aunt, Winola Scott and numerous cousins and friends. Services will be held on Thursday, April 23 at 2:00pm with a visitation one hour prior at Jefferson Memorial Funeral Home in Trussville.
