Madge Short

SHORT, MADGE LEE, 85, of Birmingham passed away on April 9, 2010. She was a member of Cahaba Heights 1st Baptist Church where she was the church pianist and a Sunday School Teacher. Survivors include her loving husband of 67 years, Carl B. Short; two sons, Carl Wayne Short (Kathryn) of Rockford AL and Tommy L. Short (Gail) of Chelsea AL; one sister, Doris Holman of Ocala FL; one brother Aubrey F. Hunnicutt of Cahaba Heights AL; three grandchildren, Joe Paul Short, Bradley Thomas Short and Jared Andrew Short; and two great grandchildren, Alexis Short and Andrew Short. Visitation will be held on Sunday, April 11 from 5:00 - 7:00 PM at Jefferson Memorial Funeral Home. Chapel services will be on Monday at 2:00 PM at the funeral home with Bro. David Spray officiating and burial to follow in Jefferson Memorial Gardens East. Jefferson Memorial Trussville directing.
