Lucy was born on February 13, 2013, in Birmingham, Alabama. She attended Cahaba Elementary School and later Hewitt-Trussville Middle School.

Lucy brought joy and love wherever she went. She gave the best hugs, shared her opinions with loving honesty, and was always eager to spend time with loved ones. She was often the first person to greet you in the driveway, ready with a smile and a warm welcome. She loved spending time with her siblings, enjoying the beach, dancing to great music, and recording funny videos to share. Her hair was always a top priority, closely followed by her makeup routine. She loved to sing, although, as Ava lovingly pointed out, she “wasn’t very good at it.” She especially treasured the moments of sitting with family and friends, chatting, laughing, and making memories together.

Lucy had a nurturing heart and a special way with babies and little children. She also had a deep love for animals of all kinds, and her compassion extended to everyone she encountered. She was a friend to all, especially those who sometimes felt like they didn’t quite fit in. Lucy had a gift for making people feel seen, accepted, and loved. She was a member of Saint Barnabas Catholic Church, where she enjoyed serving as an altar server.

Lucy was a beloved daughter, sister, granddaughter, great-granddaughter, niece, cousin, and best friend. She had a way of lighting up every room she entered and bringing joy and love with her. Her laughter, kindness, humor, hugs, and unmistakable spirit will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her. The memories she created and the love she gave so freely will remain in the hearts of her family and friends forever.

Lucy is survived by her grandparents, Tanya and Tony Gagliano; mother, Victoria Gagliano; her siblings, Ava and Coby Gagliano and Asher and Nolan Wilson; her aunts and uncles, Brittany (Matthew) Anderson, Jessica (Rafael) Gonzales, Michael (Caitlin) Gagliano, Samantha Gagliano, Alexandria (Will) Gagliano, Thomas Gagliano, and Kimberly Gagliano; her cousins, Jaxon, Cooper, Everly, Louis, and Leo; great grandparents, Penny and John Gagliano; and her beloved extended family and friends.

She will be deeply missed by all who had the privilege of knowing and loving her.
