Lloyd Ray Ingram

Lloyd Ray Ingram, 84, dedicated husband, father, grandfather and brother passed away peacefully in his sleep on Friday, June 20th, 2025. He was a devoted follower of Jesus Christ and we rejoice knowing that he has seen his Savior face to face!

Son of Dollie Spencer Ingram and Lonnie Ingram, he was born November 1, 1940 in Sandusky, Alabama. He graduated from Trussville High School in 1958 and retired from Norfolk Southern Railroad where he served as Treasurer for the Local IBEW. He and his wife, Sheila enjoyed traveling to the beach and the mountains. They loved these times together as a couple or with family. Lloyd enjoyed piddling around the house, working on small engines or working in the yard. He stayed busy during his retirement serving his wife, children, grandchildren and church, Grace Community Church at Deerfoot. He had to keep busy because if he was still for too long, he would surely take a nap! He had a servant’s heart and he loved and served his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ with all of his heart.

He was preceded in death by his mother and father; his brother and sister-in-law, Billy Joe and Wanda Lou Ingram; his sister-in-law Glenda Dale Ingram and brother-in-law Henry Clyde (Buddy) Lee. He is survived by his wife of 64 years, Sheila Goggins Ingram; their children Lloyd Dale Ingram and Darrell Ray Ingram (Jo Ellen); two grandchildren: Jessica Nicole Ingram and Jacob Robert Ingram (Madeline); sister, Patricia Ann Lee (Ingram); brother: Ewell Gene Ingram
