Mrs. Linda A. Pullum was born on December 12, 1950, to the late Maceo Cleggett and Annie Mae Cleggett in Birmingham, Alabama.
Linda was a proud product of the Birmingham City School System and a graduate of Hayes High School. After high school, she continued her education at Jefferson State Community College. She went on to build a successful career as a warehouse supervisor, where she met and formed lasting friendships with many wonderful people.
Linda had a passion for shopping and traveling. She loved organizing weekend shopping trips, chartering buses so others could join her in exploring outlet malls and new cities. Her love for travel provided her with countless opportunities to meet new people and create cherished memories.
Linda met the love of her life, Willie J. Pullum, and together they built a beautiful life and family. Their union was blessed with two sons, Ignacio Pullum and Nissalke Pullum.
She was preceded in death by her father, Maceo Cleggett; mother, Annie Mae Cleggett; sister, Benita Cleggett; and nephews, Aurelious Harris and Ingermar Cleggett.
She leaves to cherish her memory her devoted husband, Willie James Pullum; her sons, Ignacio Pullum and Nissalke (Wyeisha) Pullum; her beloved grandchildren, Gaelesa Forge and Braylon Pullum; four brothers, Roy McCray, Maceo (Renee) Cleggett, Chris Cleggett, and Pat Cleggett; three sisters, Teresa Foster, Vickie Cleggett, and Natalie (Australia) Harris; two brothers-in-law, Osie (Burnell) Pullum and Michael Pullum; three sisters-in-law, Alice Jones, Christine Dubose, and Beverly Pullum; and a host of nieces, nephews, and other relatives and friends who loved her dearly.
Linda’s warmth, kindness, and love for life will forever be remembered by all who had the privilege of knowing her.
