Linda Hudson McClendon

Linda Hudson McClendon, age 82, of Birmingham, passed away on October 30, 2025. Linda was a member of St. Mark's the Evangelist Catholic Church.

Linda was born in Birmingham, Alabama in 1943, and graduated from Banks High School. She earned a degree, and was a radiology technologist in the mammography department at the Kirklin Clinic for many years.

Linda was preceded in death by her husband of 59 years, Hugh McClendon, her parents Joseph and Mary Elaine Hudson, as well as siblings Mary Wilson (Sidney), and Margaret Dannacher (Robert).

Linda is survived by her beloved and only daughter Sallie McClendon Brand (Jack), granddaughters Lila Brand Mandel (Austin), Reed Brand, and Walter-Ann Brand, and great-grandchildren Henry Mandel and Mary Austin Mandel. Linda loved her family and friends so well and will be deeply missed.

Visitation will be held at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday, November 8th at the Chapel at St. Mark's Catholic Church, with the funeral mass to follow at 1:00 p.m. also at St. Mark's.
