Linda Mashburn

Linda Mashburn, 79, of Trussville, Alabama, passed away peacefully on September 8, 2025, surrounded by her loving family. She was born on October 10, 1945, in Eva, Alabama, and throughout her life she touched countless hearts with her warmth, humor, and compassion.

Linda earned her master’s degree from Troy University and went on to become the co-owner of All Caring Home Health LLC, where she dedicated herself to helping others with kindness and integrity.

She was known for her love of crossword puzzles, knitting, and watching Reba. Her laughter was contagious and could light up a room, and she shared many joyful moments with her beloved dog, Brother.

Linda is survived by her sister, Dorcus Smith; her son, Shane Pridgen (Charlotte); her daughter, Randa Joiner (David); seven grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren. She also leaves behind cherished nieces, nephews, extended family, and friends who will miss her dearly.

A special thank you goes to her niece, Hope, for her loving care and devotion during Linda’s final days.

Pallbearers will be Jordan Pridgen, Ben Culverhouse, Brandon Peebles, Carey Monistere, Micheal Brown, and Tim Enzor. Honorary pallbearers are Roger Pridgen and Steeley Pridgen.

Linda’s life was one of love, laughter, and giving, and her memory will live on in the hearts of all who knew her.

Dan Long will be officiating over the services for Linda.
