Leland “Lee” Wade Weber, born October 4, 1962 to William “Bill” and Doris Weber passed away on May 30, 2026. He is survived by sisters Rita Hosmer (Jerry), Elizabeth McLaughlin, Karen Sapp, brother William “Hank” Weber, devoted relatives nephew Timothy Adams, aunt Gloria Campbell, cousins Dan Campbell (Misty) and David Campbell (Kitty), along with a host of family members too numerous to name.
Lee was preceded in death by his parents William “Bill” and Doris Weber, sister Teresa Roper, grandparents Leland and Naomi Wright, and grandmother Gertrude “Billie” Louise Adkins.
Lee loved the outdoors, animals, going to the gym, working on his art, Elvis Presley, Alabama football games (Roll Tide!), Coach Nick Saban, Miss Terry, God and his family. Lee was a sweet, kind, loving man with a tender heart, infectious smile and a mischievous sense of humor.
Lee was very proud he graduated from Hayden High School. He attended The Exceptional Foundation in Homewood, AL for many years and thrived in the loving, fulfilling environment they provided.
The family would like to thank The City of Vestavia Hills Administration, Employees, Police Dept., Fire Dept., and Finance Dept., as well as S & W Electric, Inc. (Richard Stewart and Joe Willoughby Jr.) for their support and out pouring of love, kindness and accommodation over the years regarding Lee. Special thank you to friend and mentor Melvin Turner, III for your time, efforts, tireless devotion, and visits to ensure Lee's happiness and wellbeing, Nina Brakefield who always made time to send Lee Birthday cards and Christmas cards never missing an occasion in 10 years, Lee was always thrilled!, Marshea Peet and Lincoln and Suzanne Remenschneider who would take the time to visit Lee when additional help and support was needed. Each of you were instrumental in filling Lee's life with joy and happiness, creating a deep sense of profound love and acceptance. Thank you to all our family and friends for their love and support during such a difficult time.
