Laura Yvonne Quarles

Yvonne Quarles, age 87, of Birmingham went home to be with her Lord and Savior on March 24, 2021. She was a native of Sand Mountain, AL, but spent most of her life in Birmingham. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother. She collected dolls and enjoyed sewing. She was preceded in death by her loving husband of 66 years, Orbie; her parents and her four siblings. Yvonne is survived by her loving children, Debra Quarles, Michael “Mike” Quarles (Rita), and Bobby Quarles (Allison); one granddaughter, Jessica Howland (Patrick); two great granddaughters, Adalynn and Charlotte Howland. The visitation will be held at Jefferson Memorial Funeral Home from 11:00 a.m. until time of service. The service will begin at 12:00 p.m. with burial immediately following at Jefferson Memorial’s adjoining Cemetery. Reverend Ronald McCurley is presiding over the service.
