Laura Miller

Laura "Jean" Vaughn Miller, age 86, of Birmingham, AL passed away on January 2, 2016. Jean was a member of Fellowship Baptist Church. She enjoyed gardening and spending time with family and watching Alabama football. She was preceded in death by her loving husband of 34 years, Columbus Floyd Miller, Jr.; parents, Guy and Gladys Vaughn; sister, Geraldine Goolsby; daughter-in-law, Janet Miller. She is survived by her son, Rodney Miller; grandson, Nolan Miller; sister, Shirley Holcombe and five nieces and nephews. Visitation will be on Tuesday, January 5th from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. and one hour prior to the service on Wednesday at Jefferson Memorial Funeral Home. Her funeral service will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Wednesday, January 6th at Jefferson Memorial Chapel with burial immediately following the service. Chaplin Gordon Pugh is officiating.
