Larry Wright

Larry Gaines Wright, 75, of Pinson, Alabama, passed away peacefully in his home on November 21, 2025. Born on May 10, 1950, in Birmingham, Alabama, Larry lived a life marked by deep devotion to those he loved. He was preceded in death by his parents, James “Itchy” and Billie Jean Wright. He was survived in death by his children, Lauren and Rachel Wright (Quinn Rose); his brothers, Jim Brady (Joanne Brady) and Gary Wright (Diane Wright); his sister, Lou Anne Wright (William Missouri Downs); as well as numerous nieces, nephews, great-nieces, and great-nephews. He proudly served his country in the United States Air Force during the Vietnam war. His family honors and thanks him for his service to our nation and for the many ways he enriched the lives of others. Larry will be remembered for his sharp wit, love of animals, and his ability to never meet a stranger. His service will be December 14th, 2025 at 3PM at Cahaba Springs Presbyterian Church in Trussville, Alabama. May he rest in peace.
