Larry William Daniels

Larry William Daniels, age 83, passed away on Janurary 3, 2024.  Larry is preceded in death by his parents Issiac and Maxine Daniels, brother Ted Daniels, sister, Ruby Workman and son, Brian Daniels.  He is survived by his wife of 64 years, Sondra, son Craig (Kelley), grandchildren Erica Touchstone (Green), Matthew, Caroline, Conner and Brandon as well as three great-grand children Morgan, Emma and Ava Touchstone.

Larry grew up in Birmingham and graduated from Woodlawn High School.  After a professional baseball career, he worked in the sports equipment industry.  He was a member of Clearbranch United Methodist Church.  He was a lifelong sports enthusiast either as a player, parent, grandparent or coach with his finest roll as "Coach Pawpaw".

The family will receive friends on Sunday, January 7, 2024 from 1:00 pm to 2:30 pm with a service to follow at Jefferson Memorial Funeral Home in Trussville.
