Kevin Glenn Lavier, of Trussville, Alabama, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, July 15, 2026, at the age of 68.

Kevin was born on November 16, 1957, in Fayetteville, Tennessee, to Glenn and Betty Lavier. He attended Huffman High School before beginning a career in the HVAC industry, where he was known for his strong work ethic and dedication.

Outside of work, Kevin found joy in the simple things he loved most. He was an avid golfer and had a deep love of music. He especially loved playing guitar and sharing that passion with those around him. Whether he was spending time on the golf course, listening to his favorite songs, or playing guitar, Kevin appreciated life’s moments and the people he shared them with.

Kevin is survived by his loving mother, Betty Lavier; his brothers, Kyle Lavier and Keith Lavier; his sister-in-law, Jacqueline Lavier; his niece, Kayla Williams; his nephew, Jarred Lavier; and his great nieces, Kylie, Jayden, and Rylee.

He was preceded in death by his father, Glenn Lavier.

Kevin will be remembered for his kind heart, his quiet strength, and the love he shared with his family and friends. His memory will live on in the hearts of all who knew and loved him.

Visitation will be held at Jefferson Memorial from 9:00 a.m. to 10:00 a.m., followed by the funeral service from 10:00 a.m. to 10:30 a.m.
