Obituary

Funeral Services for Mr. Justin Haynes, age 27 of Irondale, will be held on Thursday, August 19, 2026 at 2:00 P.M. at Jefferson Memorial Funeral Home with David Gurley officiating. Burial will follow in the adjoining gardens.

Justin Haynes, born January 28, 1999, passed away peacefully on August 12, 2026, leaving behind a legacy of love, cherished memories, and a lasting impact on all who had the privilege of knowing him. Justin was preceded in death by his father, Randy Haynes; his grandfathers, Jessie Haynes and Rodger Johns; and others who held special places in his heart. Justin leaves behind his beloved wife, Heather Haynes, and his two beautiful sons, Jayden and Wesley, whom he loved more than anything in this world. His wife and children were the center of his life and gave him a deep sense of purpose. They were his greatest joy, and the love he had for them was evident in the way he lived each day. He is also survived by his mother, Sharon Whaley; his sister, Cynthia Tidwell; Jesse Brasher (Kris); nephew Dylan his uncle, Pug Johns, who became a father figure and source of guidance to Justin following the loss of his father; and his grandmother, Joyce Johns, who loved Justin dearly. He leaves behind his cousin, Steston (Megan), who was more like a brother to him. The two shared countless memories and experiences together. Justin also leaves behind numerous cousins, extended family members, and dear friends whose lives were touched by his presence. Justin found happiness in the simple moments spent with the people he loved most. He treasured time with his wife and children and enjoyed being outdoors whenever he could. He had a passion for riding Razors and dirt bikes, hunting, fishing, and anything that allowed him to experience the freedom of the outdoors. Those who knew Justin best will remember him for his kind heart, his love for his family, and the genuine goodness that lived within him. Justin wanted those around him to know that, at his heart, he was a good person who cared deeply and loved fiercely. Though he carried burdens that many may never have fully understood, beneath them was a man who loved his family deeply and whose presence meant more to others than he may have ever realized. Justin’s life was not defined by the weight he carried, but by the love he gave, the memories he created, and the people who will forever carry him in their hearts. His life may have been far too short, but the love he shared with Heather, Jayden, Wesley, his family, and his friends will endure. He will be deeply missed, lovingly remembered, and forever cherished.

Active Pallbearers will be Pug Johns, Devin Johns, Brandon Dickey, Aaron Johns and Stetson Johns.

Jayden and Wesley Larimer will serve as honorary pallbearers.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, August 19, 2026 from 12:30 P.M. until service time at 2:00 P.M. at Jefferson Memorial Funeral Home.
