Julius H. Cook, of Eva, AL age 81, passed away on April 17, 2026. Julius was born on September 4, 1944 in Cullman, Alabama. He fought a hard long fight, and is now free from all of the health problems. He is preceded in death by his loving wife of 63 year, Ruth Ann Cook; daughter, Krista Nicole Cook; his parents, Father, William Marvin Cook; and Mother, Martha Jane Cook. He is survived by his son, William Robert Cook; daughter, Alecia Cook Crooks(Scott); granddaughter, Kayla Ann Williams(Greg); great grandchildren, Annesleigh Nicole-Krista Crooks; Farrah Addison Williams; Caisyn Scott Alexander William; and Tyler Blake Williams; as well as a host of family and friends. If you had the great and wonderful pleasure of knowing Julius you would know his greatest accomplishments in life was being a devoted husband, wonderful dad, and amazing pawpaw. When meeting him you would know at that moment if he liked you or he didn’t. He did give off a persona that he was this big bad tough guy, but he wouldn’t even hurt a fly. He attended Enon Baptist Church when he was able to be in attendance. Loved the great outdoors. Fishing, guns, and money/coin collecting were some of his passions. In his younger years you could have found him in a paint and body shop somewhere fixing a car or two. His funeral services will be on Thursday April 23rd, 2026 at Jefferson Memorial in Trussville from 10:30am-12pm, with Gravesite at Enon Baptist Church, Vinemont at 2pm.
