Judith Lamar Roeder, 82 years of age, of Pinson, Alabama, passed away on May 12, 2026 at Cavalier Nursing Home Trussville, Alabama. Judith was born on February 7, 1944 in Birmingham, Alabama to the late Conrad and Mary Wiley. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Conrad Roeder of 54 years and her brothers, James and Larry Wiley. Judy graduated from Woodlawn High School and furthered her education by completing business school and later attended Jefferson State College. She spent the majority of her career as an Accounts Payable Freight Clerk for Motion Industries, where she made several life long friends. She was a faithful member of the Church of Christ and dedicated to serving the Lord by teaching Sunday School, Vacation Bible School, actively participated in youth group activities, managing the church resources room, and preparing the Lord's Supper. She was known for her pillow that she carried everywhere and had a great sense of humor. Judy loved hosting family and friends at her home, where many nights were spent playing cards, board games, and watching movies. She enjoyed cooking holiday dinners and baking brownies and Christmas fudge. She was always active in her daughters' lives and supported them in all of their pursuits.
Judy was a loving and devoted wife to her husband and family. She leaves behind her adored daughters Dawn Taylor (David) and Heather Johnston (Brian), and three grandchildren David Taylor II, Jake Johnston, and Zach Hutson. Judy is also survived by five siblings, Anita Adams, Sue Holcomb, Janice Wiley-Dorn, Robin Wiley (Charmaine), Gina Heaton (Kerry) and many loving nieces and nephews. Visitation will be held at 11 am with services following at 12 pm at Jefferson Memorial Gardens, 1591 Gadsden Highway Birmingham, Al. 35235 on May 19, 2026. Pallbearers will be David Taylor, Sr., David Taylor II, Brian Johnston, Jake Johnston, Zach Hutson, and Kerry Tanner.
