Joyce Sumner

Joyce Nobles Sumner, age 79, of Ashville, formerly of Birmingham, passed away March 7, 2018. She was retired from Ebsco Media, a member of McEntyre Baptist Church in Ashville and was preceded in death by her husband Curtis Sumner, and son Johnnie R. Nobles Sr. A private memorial service will be held Wednesday, March 14, at 1pm at the Abbey Mausoleum. Reverend Bobby Winningham will officiate. She is survived by her children Angela Nobles Hollon (David), Melanie Nobles Payne (Matt), Freddy Sumner (Christie), daughter in law Mary Nobles Smith, grandchildren Laura Nobles (Hoyt Hughie), J.R. Nobles Jr. (Janna), Kaitlin Nobles (Alex Headley), Robert Nobles (Paige), Heather Payne (Tyler Arcari), Austin Hollon (Carrie), Hannah Sumner, Dylan Payne and 6 great grandchildren with one on the way.
