Joyce Phillips

Joyce Elaine Phillips, 81, of Leeds, Alabama passed away on December 10th, 2023. Mrs. Phillips was a member of The Church of Grace and Mercy in Odenville, Alabama where she was a founding member and known as the Church Mother "Mama Joyce". Mrs. Phillips has now joined her late husband, Manford "Andy" Phillips. Joyce is survived by her two sons: Paul David Phillips (Valinda), and Scotty Ray Phillips. Three grandchildren: Tyler Phillips, Ashley Phillips, and Austin Phillips (Kasey). Two great-grandchildren: Adalynn Phillips, and Conrad Ray Phillips. Sister, Regina Walker, and nephew, James Walker. Mrs. Phillips is preceded in death by her parents Mr. and Mrs. George Victor McAlister. A funeral service will be held at Jefferson Memorial Funeral Home in Trussville, Alabama on Thursday, December 14, 2023 at 2 pm with Pastor Keven Robinson officiating. The family will receive friends from 12-2 pm. Burial will be at Jefferson Memorial Gardens.
