Josephine Long

Josephine McGowan Long, age 82, of Trussville, went home to be with the Lord on July 21, 2011. Mrs. Long was a devoted wife and mother. She is preceded in death by her husband, James R. Long; sons, Jesse and Dennis. She is survived by her daughters, Lisa Cline (Marvin), Belinda Long (Tommy); sons, Dan Long (Patricia), Sonny Long (Bertha) and James Long (Julie); sisters, Elizabeth Needham, Marie Osborn & Truscilla Phillips; brothers, Roland McGowan and Julius McGowan; a host of grandchildren and great-grandchildren also survive Mrs. Long. Funeral Services will be conducted on Sunday, July 24, 2011 at 2:00PM. Visitation will be Sunday from 1:00 - 2:00PM. Jefferson Memorial Trussville directing.
