Joseph Cherry

Joseph M. Cherry, age 64 of Birmingham, AL passed away on December 12, 2012. He served in the U.S. Army during the Vietnam War and was awarded a Purple Heart for his service. He is survived by his son, Douglas Cherry of Sarasota, FL and his wife, Brooke; mother, Ann Cherry of Birmingham, AL; sister, Pamela Thompson of Birmingham, AL; brother, Christopher Cherry of Birmingham, AL; grandchild, Ethan Cherry of Sarasota, FL; a loving extended family of aunts, an uncle, a nephew and niece. Visitation will be on Wednesday, December 19, 2012 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at Jefferson Memorial Funeral Home. Memorial service will follow at 12:00 PM at Jefferson Memorial.
