John Talmadge

John Walton Talmadge age 87 of Birmingham passed away January 1, 2015. He was a member of Holy Cross Episcopal Church in Trussville. He enjoyed home renovation, photography, as well as model trains and airplanes. He was especially fond of genealogy having created an extensive family tree over many years work. He joined the U.S. Navy toward the end of World War II and was eventually stationed in postwar Japan. He was preceded in death by his wife Ulla Talmadge. He is survived by his daughter Ann-Katrin Wilson (Walter), grandchildren Marie and Leighton Wilson, sister Doris Quarles, and brothers Robert and Thomas Talmadge. The service will be held at Holy Cross Episcopal Church Wednesday January 7 with visitation starting at 1 PM and the funeral service at 2 PM.
