John O'Dell

John R. O'Dell, age 84, of Tarrant City, passed away on July 9, 2016. He was a well-known patternmaker for many years and a member of Evening Star Baptist Church. He is survived by his wife, Dorothy O'Dell; son, Mike O'Dell (Glenda); step-sons, James Edwin Lee, Mark Anthony Lee, David Earl Lee; grandchildren, Johnathan and Adam; and great grandchildren, Owen, Jordan, and Josh. A visitation will be held on Monday, July 11 from 6-8pm at Jefferson Memorial in Trussville. Funeral service will be at 10am on Tuesday, July 12, 2016 at Jefferson Memorial, with Shawn Phillips officiating. Interment will follow the service at Jefferson Memorial Gardens East.
