John Monteabaro

John H. Monteabaro, age 63 of Springville, AL passed away on February 20, 2018. He was a member of Spring Valley Baptist Church. He was a Circulation Manager for the Birmingham News in the Birmingham Eastern area for over 40 years, was a co-owner of Shirley's Florist and also was a tax accountant. He is survived by his wife, Robin Monteabaro; children, Sara Trucks (David) and Chris Monteabaro (Brandy); sister, Beth Weaver (Rick); brothers, Fred Monteabaro, Rod Monteabaro (Carol) and Wiley Monteabaro (Kimmie); grandchildren, Mack Trucks, Asa Trucks and Alyssa Monteabaro, several nieces and nephews and a large extended family. Visitation will be on Thursday, February 22, 2013 from 1 to 3 PM at Jefferson Memorial Funeral Home. Services will begin at 3 PM in the chapel and the burial will follow at Jefferson Memorial Gardens East. Rev. Brad Smith will be officiating over the services. Jefferson Memorial Trussville directing.
