John Mabe

John Phillip Mabe, age 83, died Tuesday, October 20, 2015. He was a member of First Baptist Church of Trussville. John was the son of William Reed Mabe and Mary Sybil Martin Mabe. Survivors include daughter, Kathy Kennedy (Chris); son, Johnny Mabe (Paula); five grandchildren, Nicki Goodwin (Jason), Brittany Bryant (Stephen), Keith Kennedy (Lindsey), Melissa Donaldson (Chris), Andrea Booker; six great-grandchildren, Preslee and Piper Goodwin, Mason Bryant, Will and Henry Donaldson, and Bella Booker. Funeral service will be held on Thursday, October 22, 2015 at 12:00pm, at Jefferson Memorial in Trussville, with Chaplain Gary Schultz of St. Vincent Hospice officiating. The family will receive friends from 11:00am until service time at the funeral home. Interment will follow at Jefferson Memorial Gardens East. Jefferson Memorial Trussville is directing.
