John Bresnan

John Paul Bresnan Jr., age 71 went to be with the Lord on Sunday, January 16. Mr. Bresnan retired from Reeves Electric after 41 years of service. He was also a square dance caller for four decades for various clubs in many areas of the south. He was preceded in death by his parents, one sister and a brother. Survivors include his loving wife of 51 years, Bobbie J. Bresnan; one daughter Charlotte Poe (Tommy); one son, Homewood Fire Chief John Alan Bresnan (Judy); five grandchildren, three great grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews. Visitation will be held on Tuesday, January 18 from 5:00 - 7:00 PM at Jefferson Memorial Funeral Home. Chapel services will be on Wednesday, January 19 at 10:00 AM with Bro. Jacky Connell officiating and burial to follow in Jefferson Memorial Gardens East. Jefferson Memorial Trussville directing.
