Joe Estes

Joe Lee Estes, born on March 18, 1937, in Fayette County, Alabama, passed away peacefully in the morning hours of January 29, 2025. He was married to his high school sweetheart, Sarah Johnson, for 69 years. Joe was a man of deep Christian faith for 58 years of his life, serving as a devoted Elder of the Perry Hill Road Church of Christ in Montgomery, Alabama, for 28 years. He was a member at Edward's Lake Church of Christ in Birmingham, Alabama until his passing. His commitment to his faith was steadfast.Joe is survived by his loving wife, Sarah; their son, Johnny; daughters, Joy (Chris) and Jane; his sister, Charlotte Harper (Ken); as well as 3 nephews, 3 granddaughters and 6 great-grandchildren.Graveside service will be held Saturday, February 1 at 10am at Jefferson Memorial Gardens, 1591 Gadsden Hwy Birmingham, Alabama.
