Joan Howard-Wuest

Joan Howard-Wuest, age 80 of Birmingham, passed away Thursday, January 17, 2013 at her residence. She was a retired church secretary, most recently working at Eastside Baptist Church where she was also a member. Mrs. Howard-Wuest was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Jimmy Howard; brother, Ted Wingard; and sister, Anita Paulk. She is survived by her husband, Joseph Wuest; son, Larry Howard (Janet); daughter, Lisa Shelton (Jeff); and grandchildren, Ryan Howard, Kevin Howard, and Blake Shelton. Visitation will be Sunday, January 20, 2013 at Eastside Baptist Church from 1 until 2 p.m. Funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m. at the church with the Rev. Mark Smith and the Rev. Mike Jackson officiating. Burial will follow in Jefferson Memorial Gardens East. Jefferson Memorial Trussville directing.
