Jo Baggett

Jo Farley Baggett beloved mother, sister, wife, died peacefully Tuesday morning, May 28, 2024, at Aliceville Manor Nursing Home in Aliceville, Alabama; she was 92. Born Charlie Jo Farley on October 24, 1931 to Charles & Joe Farley in St. Clair County, Alabama, she graduated from Leeds High School in 1950. Jo obtained her LPN soon after and worked as a nurse until 1968. She then worked with her husband Bill Baggett in the auto parts business until she retired in 1986. Jo lived most of her life in the greater Birmingham area before moving to Tuscaloosa in 2014. She loved small dogs, watching Alabama play football, country music, talking with friends and family, and sitting in the living room with the door open listening to the world through the screen door.

In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, William E. "Bill" Baggett, and son, Charles W. "Skeeter" Brent. She is survived by her sister, Yudora Barrett, son Joseph E. Brent & Maria (Campbell) Brent, and son Clint Brent.

Services will be held on Saturday June 1, 2024 at Jefferson Memorial Funeral Home & Gardens in Trussville, Alabama. Visitation will be held on Friday evening May 31, from 5-8 p.m.
