Jimmie Hood Baker, age 89, of Morris, AL, passed away Sunday, June 23rd, 2024. She was a former member of Beachwood Baptist Church.
Jimmie was preceded in death by her husband of 63 years, Jay Baker; and her parents, Walter and Crecia Hood.
She is survived by her children, Johnny, Jane and Jason; sister, Shirley Black; brother, Kerry; grandchildren, Shannon, Tiffany and Jonathan; and 9 great grandchildren.
Funeral services will be on Thursday, June 27th, 2024, at 11:00 AM, at Jefferson Memorial Funeral Home. Visitation will be an hour prior to services. Burial will follow at Jefferson Memorial Gardens East. Arrangements under the direction of Jefferson Memorial Funeral Home and Gardens.
