Jewel Barnett

Jewel Barnett, age 96, of Pinson, went home to be with the Lord on August 1, 2011. She was retired from H.C. Walton Company with 20 years of service. She was a member of Sandtown Methodist Church and was a special and loving mother and grandmother. She was preceded in death by her husband Herman Barnett, sons Brady, Larry and Grady, 5 brothers and 2 sisters. Services will be on Thursday August 4, in the chapel at 2pm with burial in Chalkville Baptist Cemetery. Visitation will be from 5pm until 7pm Wednesday. She is survived by her daughters Carol (Richard) Weaver, Doris Walton, 4 grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren. Jefferson Memorial Trussville directing
