Jessie Love

Olene Love, age 90, of Bessemer, passed away on May 18, 2012. She was a dedicated member of Vinesville Baptist Church for 60 years and was presently a member of Union Hill Baptist Church. Mrs. Love was preceded in death by her husband of 60 years, Russell David Love; daughter, Linda Ellis; son, Rusty Love; grandson, Claude "Bubba" McGee; brother, Charles Pate; and parents, Jesse & Margie Pate. Survivors include daughter, Sherry McGee (Claude); sisters, Peggy Hitchcock (Gene), Dot Dobbs, and Emaleen Pate; brother, James Pate (Margaret), 8 grandchildren, 15 great grandchildren; many nieces and nephews, as well as a special nephew, Ray Hitchcock. Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, May 22 at 12:00PM at Jefferson Memorial Funeral Home. Visitation will be from 11 - 12 on Tuesday. Burial will be in Jefferson Memorial Gardens East.
