Jessica "Jessie" "Boode" Leigh Dorsett

Jessica Leigh “Jessie” “Boode” Dorsett, age 49 of Birmingham, AL passed away on March 10, 2026. She had Cerebral Palsy and was cared for by her loving Mother. She attended the Burkett Center when she was younger. She was loved by her family and was their angel on earth. She was preceded in death by her Mother, Cheryl Sue Dansby, her aunts, Mary Larkins and Donna Larkins; her uncle, David Larkins; her great nephew, Adrian Davis Wise and her great niece, Marley Wise. She is survived by her sister, Allison (David) Hill; two nieces, Christine Larkins and Kayla (Kavin) Horsley; great nephews, Trevor Horsley, Trent Horsley, Trey Horsley, Trace Horsley and Travis Horsley. The family would like to thank the nurses that cared for her over the years from Stevens Home Healthcare and Arva Middlebrooks.
