Jerry Booth, Sr.

Jerry William Booth, Sr (Papa) passed away on June 5th , 2025, at 81 years old in Pittsburgh, PA. He was born in Birmingham, AL on May 24th, 1944. He married (and was spoiled by) his wife, Wanda Louise Driver on July 17th, 1964. They shared almost 62 years together. Papa loved long walks, and he would pull his grandchildren along when they were younger in a wagon. Together they would enjoy shooting the Red Ryder BB gun and unofficial driving lessons as they got older. (Proverbs17:6) A personal hobby was tearing paper for hours on end while watching his favorite westerns. He was a loyal employee to every job he worked and was known as JB by several he worked for. As a member of The Church of God, he was faithful in many ways, especially saving his change for Missions! (Matt.25:21) Papa is proceeded in death by his daughter, Sherrie Booth Isbell, and grandson Justin Drew Isbell. He is survived by his wife Wanda, son Butch Booth (Stephanie), grandchildren & great-grandchildren; Gabriella Booth Alvarez (Pablo; Rhoman), Garrison “Gage” Booth (Eva; Emerson) Glorianna Grimes Booth. One sister, Sandra Strickland Montgolf. As well as a host of many family and friends. Visitation followed by Graveside Service at Cahaba Heights Baptist Church & Cemetery.
