Jennie Mary Ware

On Tuesday, Nov.  21, Jennie Mary Ware joined her Lord and Savior in Heaven, after a long, well-lived life of 85 years.

Jennie loved God with her whole heart. She will be greatly missed by her husband Harvey T. Ware and her children, grandchildren, great-grandchildren and extended family: Donna Cope (Alan) and children Charles Webster, Victoria Thomas (Tyler), and Alexandra Gutierrez (Aaron) and great-grandson Leon; Wanda Roden (Roger) and children Micah and Makayla; and Thomas Cope (Robin) and children Rachel Carmona (Lesty) and Jonathan Cope (Caitlyn), and great-granddaughter Parker; along with Deana Ware Ott (Jeff) and children Suzie and Allen Ott (Karla), Harvey’s great-grandson Atticus; and Denise Ware and daughter Shelby (Cody) Ramsay.

Jennie was preceded in death by Charles Donald Cope; her parents Adolfo and Teresa Lavadie, as well as her brothers Robert and Charles Lavadie and her sister Dolores Lavadie Ailstock.

Jennie retired from the city of Birmingham after 21 years of service.
