Jeffrey Layton

Jeffrey Glen Layton, age 50 of Pelham, AL passed away on April 8, 2013. He was a loving father, son, and brother. He cherished his friendships with many and was adored by all who knew him. He was a member of Gardendale First Baptist Church. He was the co-owner of Oak Mountain Body Shop. He is survived by his daughters, Brooke and Bentley Grace Layton; parents, Billy Joe and Carolyn Layton; sisters, Michelle Roberson (Jess) and Pam Layton; brother, Tony Layton; grandmother, Eula Bell Layton; niece, Maria Beasley; nephew, J. P. Roberson; special friend, Mike and Glenda Capps. Visitation will be on Thursday, April 11, 2013 from 5 to 7PM at Jefferson Memorial Funeral Home. Services will be on Friday at 10:00 AM at Jefferson Memorial Funeral Home. Burial at Jefferson Memorial Gardens East. Rev. Kevin Helms will be officiating over the services.
