Jeffrey Askew, Sr.

Jeffrey Drew Askew, Sr., age 71, passed away on April 9, 2025. He was preceded in death by his parents James E. and Inez Askew, Sr.; father-in-law, Jim Mayhan; sister-in-law, Cheryl Mayhan.

Jeff is survived by his wife Dana Mayhan; children, Lauren (Andrew) Gidley, Drew (Carla) Askew; three grandchildren, Calleigh, Katelyn, Oliver; three brothers, Jimmy (Varina) Askew, Mo (Kathy) Askew, Woody Askew; two brothers-in-law, Mike (Amanda) Mayhan and Mark (Wendy) Mayhan; many nieces, nephews and other loving family members and friends.

Visitation will be on Monday, April 14, 2025, from 5:00 pm until 8:00 pm at Jefferson Memorial Funeral Home. There will be a Chapel service on Tuesday, April 15, 2025, at 2:00 pm at the funeral home with Rev. Jared Cook officiating. Burial will be at Jefferson Memorial Gardens.
