Jeffery "J.T." Lyndon Thomas

Memorial Services for Jeffery Lyndon Thomas, 63, of Cleveland, Alabama formerly from McCalla, Alabama, will be held on Tuesday, July 1st, at 2:00 PM, at Jefferson Memorial Funeral Home with Jeremy Beck officiating.

Jeff went to be with our Lord and Savior on Monday, June 23, 2025. He passed away peacefully at his Cleveland home. Born on August 5, 1961, in Bessemer Alabama, he was the son of William Horace Thomas and Dorothy June Harris. Jeff graduated from Jess Lanier High School in 1979. He worked in the shipping department at U.S. Pipe in Bessemer for 24 years and then Mercedes Benz for 17 years, mainly as a fork lift driver.

He is survived by his loving wife, Lisa and their son, Zach.

Jeff enjoyed spending time with family and friends, for family gatherings, fishing, game nights and Alabama football.

He was preceded in death by his parents, William Horace and Dorothy June Thomas, stepmother (Aubrey) and stepmother (Mary Lou). He is survived by brothers and sisters, Chris Thomas (Cheryl), Kay Wood (Kenny), Andrea Cheek (Jeff), and loving nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be held on Tuesday at 1:00 PM until time of services.
