With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of Jaylin Lee Jenkins, affectionately known as "JJ," who tragically departed from this earth on April 9th, 2024, in Birmingham, Alabama at the tender age of 16. Jaylin was the beloved firstborn son of Jesse and Amanda Jenkins, and adored big brother to Jayla, Aiden, and Jesse III. Jaylin's constant faith in Jesus guided his path and touched the lives of all who had the privilege of knowing him. He was a devoted and extraordinary older brother. The unbreakable bond that he shared with his siblings was built on love, guidance, and support, a loss that will be mourned and deeply felt forever. Jaylin was always the first to lend a helping hand. He was hardworking, highly intelligent, very ambitious and desired to attend college to pursue his dreams of making a positive impact on the world. Beyond his academic achievements, Jaylin's wisdom, maturity, and peaceful nature set him apart.

His profound love and loyalty to his friends and family were unwavering, leaving a lasting impression on all who were fortunate enough to know him. Jaylin found joy spending time with his friends, whether it was at the skating rink or playing video games. He also had a passion for rebuilding dirt bikes and machinery. His energy was unmatched, and his soul exuded a sense of peace that cannot be explained, only felt. In his brief time with us, Jaylin touched the hearts of many and left a lasting impression on those he encountered. His memory will forever be cherished, and his legacy of love, kindness, and wisdom will continue to inspire those who were honored to have known him.

Rest in peace, dear Jaylin. Your light will forever shine brightly in our hearts. You were truly a gift, too precious for this world.
