Janet Loree Tubbs

Funeral Services for Mrs. Janet Loree Tubbs, age 72 of Moody, will be held on Saturday, December 6, 2025 at 2:00 P.M. at Jefferson Memorial Funeral Home with Rev. Justin L. Ward officiating. Burial will follow in the adjoining gardens.

Janet passed away peacefully on Tuesday, November 25, 2025 at her home. Her love for her children, Jason and Jana and her grandson Sawyer was unconditional. She had a warmth you could feel just by being near her and a laugh that was contagious. Her strength and resilience were unmatched and her giving nature for those who were less fortunate will never be forgotten. She had a love for flowers and Alabama football, a family tradition that will continue for coming generations. Her compassion, generosity, unwavering love, and warmth will be remembered by all who’s lives she touched.

She is survived by her children, Jana Tubbs and Jason Tubbs, her grandson, Sawyer Tubbs, her sister, Glenda Stone, her niece, Shelie Gardner Hyatt, a host of friends and extended family.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Hershel and Ruth Hoagland, her nephew, Greg Gardner, and the father of her children, Richard Tubbs.

Pallbearers will be Richard Hatch, Brad Waid, Adam Atkintson, James Hall, and Jason Tubbs.

Visitation will be held on Saturday, December 6, 2025 from 1:00 P.M. until service time at 2:00 P.M. at Jefferson Memorial Funeral Home.
