Jane Shoop

Jane Shoop, Lovingly known as, "Nana" was born September 17, 1936 and went home to be with the Lord December 6, 2017. She was a life-long member of Irondale First Baptist Church. She retired from Irondale Community School after several years of service. She is survived by her husband, Jimmy C. Shoop; two sons, Greg Shoop (Tara) and Ken Shoop (Wendi); grandchildren, Corey (Paige), Jonathan (Courtney), Hunter and Kathryne; sister, Ann Chandler (Max); brother, Billy Watson (Carol); a host of nieces nephews and extended family. Family will receive friends on Saturday, December 9th from 10:00 a.m. until 12:00 p.m. at Jefferson Memorial in Trussville. A chapel service for Mrs. Shoop will immediately follow at 12 noon. Burial will take place after the chapel service at Forest Crest Cemetery.
