James Armstrong

James W. Armstrong, age 86 of Springville, AL passed away on February 10, 2022. James graduated from Cunningham.  He was a retired Tank Sealer for Hayes/Pemco after 40 years of service. He was a faithful servant of Gospel Assembly all his life.

He is preceded in death by his father, J.C. Armstrong; mother, Willie Bell Armstrong; son, Steve Armstrong; his sister, Shirley Kinny;   granddaughter; Shana, and grandson; Gage,

James is survived by his loving wife of 60 years, Janice Armstrong, three sons, Brad and wife Teresa; Curtis and wife Donna; Dennis and wife Pam; nine grandchildren, seventeen great grandchildren and eight great-great grandchildren; his siblings, Bobby and wife Rochelle; Betty and husband Charles; and numerous nieces and nephews.

The visitation for friends and family will be held at Jefferson Memorial Funeral Home in Trussville, AL on Tuesday, February 15th from 10:00 a.m. until 12:00 p.m. With the chapel service beginning at 12:00 p.m. The committal will immediately follow the chapel service at Jefferson Memorial’s adjoining gardens.
