James Smith

Kyle "Uncle Snuffy" Smith, age 86, of Birmingham passed away January 6, 2012. He served in the US Navy during World War II, worked for the US Post Office and was a proud lifetime member of the B.W. Howell Post 171 American Legion. He was preceded in death by his parents Bertha Mae and G. C. Smith, and brother Grover C. Smith. Graveside services will be on Monday Jan 9th at 1pm with burial in Jefferson Memorial Gardens East. Visitation will be from 12pm to 1pm Monday. He is survived by his sister Sybil Smith, brother Byron LaVelle Smith, and numerous nieces and nephews. Memorials may be made to the Birmingham Nursing and Rehab East.
