James Hollis

James Hoil Hollis, age 79, of Odenville passed away October 31, 2013. He was a very active man that loved hunting, fishing, and his truck. Mr. Hollis was also a member of Healing Place Church of Trussville, AL. He was preceded in death his parents, Versie and James "Jim" Hollis; sister, Betty Phillips; brother, T.J. Hollis; and son, Wayne Hollis. Survivors include his wife, Johnnie Joyce Baltzer Godfrey Hollis; children, Gary Hollis, Linda Lowery (David), Wanda Langley (Rick), Daniel Hollis (Kristi), Dianne Dooley (Doug); 14 grandchildren; and 5 great grandchildren. Visitation will be 1-2:00 PM Tuesday, November 5 at Jefferson Memorial Funeral Home. The service will begin at 2:00 PM in the funeral home chapel with Pastor Ricky Bradford officiating followed by the burial at Jefferson memorial Gardens East. Jefferson Memorial Trussville directing.
