Jim Hilton was born in district of Columbia. He was the oldest child by Charlotte Miles and George Hilton Sr. along with 4 sisters and 3 brother. He lived to be 74, passed away July 10th in the comfort of his home in Birmingham, Alabama. He was a father of 2, Bobbi Jo and Stacy Hilton along with 6 grandchildren Little Donnie, Brandon, Nicole, Tyler, Meagan, Pricilla, and a newly great-great grandchild Amia, who he absolutely adored “The love of his life.” Also leaving behind a companion (a calico cat) Mia. He was a veteran who served 13 years 9 months and 23 days in the U.S. Army infantry division and the 6th aviation platoon from 1966 – 1982. He was a commander in chief of the DAV and a lifelong member of the VFW. He proudly represented the 134th Assault helicopter company around the USA. Jim was known as a caring man who would give his shirt off his back. He always lit up the room with laughter. He will sorely be missed.
