James Clay Herring

Clay Herring passed away at his home January 10, 2024. He leaves behind a legacy of friendship, family and a love for life. He spent his carer in the HVAC world as a master HVAC technician and loved what he did. His passion for cars, motorcycles and drag racing is what kept him feeling alive and you could find him turning wrenches in his spare time. He is preceded by parents Don and Betty Herring, and step daughter Tiffanie Morton. He is survived by son Hunter Herring, step son Justin Morton (Stacie Morton), grandchildren Ashlynn Morton, Braylen Morton, brother Chris Herring, nephew Cody Herring (Kayla Herring) and mother in law Wanda Morton. Service is Saturday, January 20, 2024 at Jefferson Memorial in Trussville, AL. Visitation 11:00 am until 12:00 pm and the funeral service will be at 12:00 pm.
