James Halbrooks

James E. "Jim" Halbrooks, Sr., age 80, of Hoover, passed away on September 29, 2016. He was a retired salesman and previous owner of Hardware Services Inc. Mr. Halbrooks was preceded in death by his wife, Millie C. Halbrooks; his parents and 6 siblings. He is survived by his children, James E. "Eddie" Halbrooks, Jr. (Susan) and Kristi L. Wooley; his grandchildren, Amanda Travis (Justin), Jacob Halbrooks, Christian Wooley, and Katelyn Wooley; and many nieces, nephews, and other family members. The family would like to give a special thanks to Nikki Wilson for her kindness in caring for Mr. Halbrooks. Funeral service will be held on Wednesday, October 5, 2016 at Jefferson Memorial in Trussville at 2pm. A visitation will be held on Tuesday from 6-8pm.
